COVID UPDATES
Update 5th June 2020
Currently, the Government COVID threat level is 4, which means high transmission rate and social distancing should continue. Due to the potential increased risk of spread of the virus, we are restricted with what treatments we can provide at this time.
Our treatments will be limited to non-aerosol generating/low-risk aerosol generating exposure to minimise potential virus transmission, to keep our patients, staff and all families safe. In this current climate, it is our priority to help our patients as much as we can in the safest way possible.
The guidelines also advise minimising the number of people in the practice to conform to social distancing measures. Which means we won’t be able to see as many patients in a single working day as we used to.
We have a priority list of patients who contacted us during lockdown with emergencies which we were unable to help. These patients will be contacted as soon as possible. As the diaries allow, we will then contact patients who are in mid-treatment, followed by patients who had routine check-ups and appointments cancelled.
We will be updating you on our new patient journey, which will include completing as many forms as possible and payment remotely before you attend the practice to keep contact to a minimum. Please keep following us on social media and checking in on our website to see our updates.
❌ Please do not attend the practice without a prior appointment.
✔️ If you do need help or advice, please call or email us.
Our team will be working really hard to get back to ‘normal’ as soon as possible, so whilst this is brilliant news, please be patient with us.
